Rovers took out three premierships last season, the most of any club in the Group Three Junior League, with wins in the under 11s, 14s and 16s.
Chris Hollis takes over from Chris Murphy as club president this year and will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge which will see the Rovers in another very strong position in 2014.
The Rovers mini league teams from under sixes to nines are developing very strongly and it looks great for the future of the club. Rovers are also looking very strong right across their competitive years from the under 10s to 16s with the under 12s and 15s already assembling two great teams and are already tipped as premiership favourites. The under 10s, 11s and 14s are all developing well also and it's going to be a very competitive year for these teams. The Rovers have several exciting trials arranged this year against Kempsey Dragons and South Newcastle.
Registration days for the Rovers sixes to 16s will be held at the Taree Recreation Centre canteen on February 4 and 6 at 4pm. Online registrations are now open for existing players. The link to online registration forms is via the Taree RSL Red Rovers Junior Rugby League website. Just click on registration renewals at top of webpage. All new registrations must be made in person via club registrar on registration days. A birth certificate is required. Club fees for 2014 are $95 single and $85 for each sibling if more than one player registered in an immediate family. Fees include shorts, socks, referees and ground user fees.
