Police have charged a man over the alleged possession of child abuse material following a search in Failford, north of Forster, overnight.

About 7pm (Thursday 16 January 2014), officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command attended a residence on Mill Road and spoke with a 55-year-old man.
During a search of the property, officers located two computers that allegedly contained child abuse material.
The items were seized and will now undergo further analysis.
The man was arrested and taken to Taree Police Station, where he was later charged with possess child abuse material (four counts) and granted conditional bail to appear before Taree Local Court on Tuesday 11 February, 2014.
