Maddalena, who plays third grade, snared 20 wickets with a best of 5/27.
Taree West veteran Mark Styles is also enjoying a strong summer in third grade, as he has 19 wickets while Garry Chapman from Mt George has 17 and this includes a five wicket haul of 5/22.
Aaron Murray from Taree Leagues-Wherrol Flat has 321 runs and leads the way in the batting department. This includes an innings of 115.
Hallidays Point's Tim Doyle has 318 while Corey Harper from Cundletown has 273.
Five centuries have been scored. Bruce Bird from Wingham has 125 not out followed by Murray's 115.
Mikah Gibson from Mt George has 104 not out while Nathan Fuller from Taree West's one trip to the crease this season saw him notch 107.
Brad Hunt from Great Lakes came fearfully close, scoring an unbeaten 98.
Cundletown are the competition leaders on 48 in a tighly contested pointscore.
