Police will allege the 53-year-old man made contact with a 13-year-old boy over a social networking site in an attempt to groom him for sexual activity.
About 11:25am yesterday (Monday 23 December 2013), detectives from Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command attended a house in Harrington where they arrested the man.
He was taken to Taree Police Station where he was charged with groom child for unlawful sexual activity and was refused bail appearing in Taree Local Court yesterday (Monday 23 December 2013).
