Damian rode in the classic last January. Alex will be making his debut next month.
He thinks this will be the first time the brothers have ever raced directly against one-another.
"We did a bit of endurance stuff together but I dunno, I don't think we've ever been against each other,'' he said.
Damian finished out of the major placings last January but his brother thinks he will be a contender this time around.
"He's fast,'' he said.
"If I can't beat him I'll have to take him out,'' he added with a grin.
Cudlin is looking forward to putting on a show for the local spectators expected to pack out the track for the meeting.
"It's going to be a big thing, with all the big names and the internationals as well,'' Cudlin said.
"It's good for the town.''
Cudlin once lived within walking distance of Taree Motor Cycle Club's headquarters. But he hasn't raced there in 11 years.
"I've had a few practices in the last month or so but that's all,'' he said.
Cudlin hopes to create history next year by winning at Qatar for the fourth successive time. He currently leads the pointscore after two rounds.
"We don't have another race until February and then I'm back into it again.''
