The tireless community leader has dedicated most of her life to helping others and friends and family travelled from all over NSW to see that she was duly acknowedged for her hard work.
Celebrations for Jeanette continued this week when she joined her fellow Quota members at Manning Hospital to add her own rose to the Quota Rose Garden on the hospital site.
The rose garden was established on June 2, 1953 and has been relocated three times over the years, to accomodate the different expansions of the hospital.
It's now based in the middle of the roundabout at the hospital's main entrance and Jeanette's rose was planted amongst her fellow Quota members' roses from over the years.
Jeanette was humbled by the acknowledgement of her work and said she looked forward to seeing her rose grow.
