THE rise of the moon to full on Saturday night has brought the fish back on the bite in the estuary and out at sea.
The beaches have not shown much improve ment.
In the river luderick are on the bite at night on fresh yabbies and bream are taking yabbies and flesh baits.
Flathead are taking soft plastic lures in the river from around Harrington up into the Lansdowne River and up to Croki. Mulloway are yet to show up but the full moon could see some activity.
The beaches have not produced many fish and we need some schools of bait fish to come in on the coast to entice the tailor back to the beaches.
The only decent catches on the beach have been whiting, caught on beach worms.
Outside anglers have been scoring snapper to 2kg off Old Bar and small trag on the northern grounds.
