Works on Nowendoc Road, between Caffreys Flat and Number One are scheduled to start on October 28, with works on Bulga Road between Bobin and Elands start in late November.
Both roads will be closed for several weeks between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday. Residents, schools, transport companies and emergency services have been advised.
Council's team leader of tourism and public relations, Donna Hudson says council recognises the significant impact this may have on local members of the community but has been pleased with the response from the community.
"We will be holding a community information meeting from 5.30pm to 6.30pm next Tuesday in relation to Nowendoc Road," Ms Hudson said.
A separate meeting is being scheduled for the Elands community.
Anyone between Wingham and Nowendoc or Elands who wishes to know more about this project, may contact the council's customer service centre on 6592 5399.
The works on Nowendoc Road are expected to continue through mid-February weather-permitting.
Bulga Road works will also be performed weekdays between 9am and 3pm, starting in late November.
Works on the Bulga Road segment between Bobin and Elands are projected to continue through late April, weather-permitting.
