GREATER Taree City Council is hosting "Get that grant" workshops for groups and individuals in Wingham, Old Bar and Harrington.
The workshops are for those who find grant writing confusing or too hard, or people who need some tips and better ways to write a submission.
Organisations can learn how to develop a tender kit, how to structure a project idea, receive grant-writing tips and tricks, methods of gathering evidence for a project, and developing clear project outcomes.
"There are so many great ideas and passionate community groups out there," said workshop organiser and community development officer Carole Isaacs.
"This workshop is about helping community groups position themselves to be prepared, and to take a more strategic approach in applying for grants."
Groups and individuals may book a session between 9.30am and 12.30pm, at the following locations:
o Tuesday October 29, at the Wingham Services Club Hibiscus Room in Wingham,
o Tuesday November 12 at Club Old Bar on Waterman St in Old Bar, or
o Tuesday November 19 at the Harrington Library in Harrington.
Participants are asked to reserve their position no later than Wednesday, October 23, by contacting Carole Isaacs, community development officer at Greater Taree City Council by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or calling on 6592 5339.
