THE Manning continues to provide great fishing for bank and boat anglers.
The fishing outing held by the Harrington Bowling Club's fishing club saw most anglers weigh in bream, luderick tailor and a few small mulloway.
Salmon were also presented.
The bream came from the beach and the river wall on worms and yabbies while the luderick fell to yabbies fished un-weighted at night.
Some small mulloway were caught on the southern end of Crowdy beach while the river produced mulloway to 5kgs from Chinaman's Point and the Lansdowne River. Some big flathead have been landed and released at Chinaman's Point in the past few days. Soft plastics are the way to go.
Tailor and salmon are on the bite south of First Creek. If you are travelling near Second Creek care must be taken as the beach is narrow and it would be easy to get stranded for a few hours on a rising tide.
