Detectives have charged a man with voyeurism offences after a hidden camera was allegedly found inside his bathroom in Taree..
Police were called to the home on August 9 after a secretly hidden pen camera was found in a bathroom where the man lives.
Later that day police charged the 40-year-old man with failing to comply with reporting obligations. He was released on conditional bail.
Police then executed a search warrant on the home and seized a computer hard drive, lap top and a pen camera.
The man was arrested and taken to Taree Police Station about 10am on Monday.
The 40-year-old Taree man was charged with eight counts of film person in private act without consent.
He was conditionally bailed to appear in Taree Local Court on Tuesday, September 17, 2013.
