MANNING Valley Cycle Club concluded the road race calendar at Central Lansdowne.

An omnium was held with the first race being the running of the Dick Budden Memorial Handicap.

The race was over two laps of the shorter summer course and was taken out by Harold Greenhalgh in a sprint finish with Kelle Nicholson in second and Aaron Bevitt third.

Beau Harper took out the fastest time.

The second race was a graded event and Josh Blick won A-grade from Phil Knowles.

B-grade race was taken out by Gary Pearson from Greg Walmsley and Gail Johnson.

C-grade was won in a sprint by Nathan Loretan from Ian Budden and Gary Piper.

The D-grade event was again a Harold Greenhalgh benefit as he outsprinted Kelle Nicholson and Aaron Bevit.

This was enough to take enough combined points from the two races to win the omnium.

E-grade also held two races with Jahl Nicholson and Matthew Blick taking one win apiece to share the honours.
