ABOUT one inch (2.5cm) of snow is left on the Barrington Tops between Thunderbolt’s Lookout and the Dingo Gates after the first fall on Saturday night.
About five to eight centimetres of snow fell, but two-wheel-drive vehicles were still allowed access. Yesterday the sun was shining and was expected to melt the remaining snow.
Normally the first fall is about this time of July, but last year Barrington received an early fall in June.
