Bookings open for Manning Valley business forum

BOOKINGS are open for the Manning Valley Business Chamber's Business Forum with respected financial commentator Michael Pascoe as guest speaker on February 23 at the Manning Entertainment Centre.

The subject of the forum is Economic Outlook for Business and Retail conditions for 2012 with the forum starting at noon. It is open to everyone on the Mid North Coast.

Mr Pascoe is one of Australia's most respected and experienced finance and economic commentators with nearly 40 years' experience in newspapers, broadcasting and on-line journalism.

Known as an entertaining and provocative speaker on all matters financial, economic and political Mr Pascoe's address will include an insight on what business can expect in the future and how to improve the bottom-line.

The presentation will include several small presentations from local business and organisations regarding investment and training opportunities for 2012.

"One of the strengths of Michael Pascoe as a commentator has been with the analysis of the retail sector," Manning Valley Business Chamber manager Steve Attkins said.

"It would be highly recommended and encouraged that retail owners or staffs attend the event as Michael has been involved in business analysis in many sectors especially the Australian economy surprising accuracy will include a focus on the new internet competition for retail.''

Guests will be able participate in a question and answer session with Michael Pascoe, who has always been forthright in his advice.

All members of the Mid North Coast community are invited to the Business Forum including senior school students of commerce who will be admitted free of charge. The Manning Valley Business Chamber has subsidised the event as the major sponsor to encourage he regions business community to experience some external analysis from a one of Australia astute commentators.
